Imagine you are applying for your dream study abroad program in London, or maybe you are a hiring manager looking at a fantastic resume from a candidate who studied in Munich. Suddenly, you are staring at a "First Class Honours" or a "1.3" and wondering, "Is this good, or did they barely scrape by?" Grading systems around the world are like local currencies—everyone has their own, and trying to swap them in your head can give you a major headache. That’s where our International Grade System Converter steps in to make your life simple. Different countries look at academic success through completely different lenses. In the US, we love the 4.0 GPA scale where an 'A' is the gold standard. Cross the Atlantic to the UK, and they use a unique honors system where getting a 70% ("First Class") is incredibly rare and prestigious—unlike in the US, where a 70% is an average 'C'. Head over to Germany, and the whole system flips on its head: a 1.0 is the absolute best score you can get, while a 4.0 is a bare pass. It is incredibly easy to misinterpret these numbers and miss out on opportunities just because of a translation mix-up. Our converter helps you instantly translate these confusing academic benchmarks into terms you actually understand. Whether you are a student tailoring your resume for global internships, a parent helping your child apply to colleges abroad, or an HR professional trying to compare international applicants fairly, this tool acts as your universal academic translator. It takes the guesswork out of global credentials, giving you the confidence to talk about grades across borders without getting lost in translation.

• !Mixing up the German scale's direction (assuming a 1.0 is bad and a 4.0 is great, when it is actually the reverse).
• !Panicking over UK percentages (forgetting that a 60% or 70% in the UK is actually a very strong grade, not a failing one).
• !Using a weighted US high school GPA (like a 4.5 out of 5.0) without normalizing it to a standard 4.0 scale first.
• !Assuming all percentage scales are equal (a 60% in India is a prestigious First Division, while a 60% in the US is a D).
