Step-by-Step Guide
- 1Convert all to seconds for arithmetic: hours×3600 + minutes×60 + seconds
- 2Perform the arithmetic operation
- 3Convert result back: divide by 3600 for hours, remainder/60 for minutes, etc.
- 4For duration across midnight: add 24 hours if end is before start
