What is NEAT Calories?

NEAT (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) is the energy expended in all physical activities except formal exercise — walking, standing, fidgeting, climbing stairs, typing. NEAT varies by up to 2,000 kcal/day between individuals at the same body weight.
